throttle cables

ok so i have a bit of a problem now with my build up... i have a 79 cb650 with  71-76 cb750 carbs on... i figured out the carbs got it to work rebuilt them cleaned them ready to sync but my throttle cables are to long.. its not the actual tube around the cable its the cable itself... any suggestions on what i should i do.. should i buy stock cb750 throttle cables or stock cb650 cables or does it not matter im stuck and i just want my bike to run whats that engine turns i'll be done.. help me out guys.

I got new handle bars and my throttle cables are to long as well. I was wondering if diff. models have diff. cable lengths, but the same hardware. If a CB350 cables is shorter, for example, but uses the same hardware it would make life easier. I have a feeling that custome cables art costly.

What are the lengths of your cables guys, perhaps a trade........I need a bit longer clutch cable. Mine is too short.

I called Z1 Ent. and they have a 40" pull/37" push and the standard 45.5" pull/45" push. It's too bad they don't have a 40" push as well. I went with the standard size after I got replies to my post about cable length problems. I'll just route them differently.
