Terry....I have been on vacation down in Florida and just saw this...I think you hurt my feelings and totally ruined my vacation!!!  :'(

Actually I just have a harder time wheelie'ing than you do since I don't have that sheep riding with me for counter weight!!!

Dennis

Ha ha, well I hope you had a nice vacation anyway mate!  ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Thanks Terry! Actually I am still in the midst of it...I have until this Saturday morning when we do the 25 hour drive back to te great white north! With any luck I will hook up with Techy (Jim) at his bike night this Thursday! Who knows....one day if I can scrape up the cash I will come down to Oz and drop in on one of your bike nights!!! One of my dream trips is to go to Oz...would lose my left arm to dive the reef...I would even buy you a beer!!

Thing is, most people would have taken that entire year to do what you did in just a few short months.

Saw the pics again in the first post and remember what it looks like now.  WOW.  Great job again on bringing it back as you have!
I don't have a motorcycle, sold it ('85 Yamaha Venture Royale).  Haven't had a CB750 for over 40 years.

yeah , to tell the truth, it was kind of an unhealthy obsession for a little while there , damn near every penny that hit my hand went into the bike ..  i remember i was building the wire harness, and i needed some connectors, and was down to my last few bucks, it was about 7pm and i hadn't eaten that day...... i bought the connectors instead of food ::) ;D

worked on it AT LEAST 3-4 hours a day , sometimes till 4am.

don't really have too many gearhead friends so most of my buddies justdidn't get it,   "dude!! it's just a bike, lets go out to the bar, we never hang out lately!!"

Don't neglect your friends.  Otherwise, you'll wind up with just you and your computer, trying to help out total strangers over the internet.   :(

Hey Spikey, one of those fire retardant blankets might be a good prezzy for your bikes re-birthday!
I think the thing I most like about motorcycling is the speed at which my brain must process information at to avoid the numb skulls who are eating pies, playing the ukulele, applying make-up etc in the comfort of their airconditioned armchairs as they make random attempts to kill me!!!!!!!
