Hi From Cincinnati
« on: February 18, 2009, 02:24:18 PM »
Hey all,
Just new to the site.  Have a 1977 CB750F Supersport.  Bought it $1200 back in '78.  Just got it out of garage (didn't ride it for 20years while the kids were growing up).  Just got it running again, last year.
Put on 5000 miles last year, just turned 12,000 miles.  Had a 69 CB750 and a Kawasaki 350 F9 Enduro back then and rode them mostly.
Found your site while looking for help on pulling front wheel bearings.  (Still working on that too.)
Rebuilt carbs, new muffler, seat, both master cylinders, tires.. etc.  It's been fun
Hope I can get good info on the site.  Along with places to ride.

Welcome modzsquad,

If you do a search on pulling wheel bearings on the search function, you'll find probably the help you need. If that doesn't do it just post your question/problem in the SOHC Bikes tech forum. Odds are someone else on this board had that problems and can help you.

Post some pics up when you get a chance, we love to see these old bikes on the board.

Just finished pulling bearings. It's amazing how well liquid wrench works.  I beat on my bearing for a day then put some liquid wrench on them this morning... they came out great.  Now for the new ones.

Just put some pictures of a trip I took last year on the gallery, keyword 77 CB750, but the bike is getting some tlc right now.  Just turned 16,000 miles.  Had it in storage for 20 years while kids grew up.
