Newbie post.

I stumbled across this forum while looking for information on how to repair and restore my bike.  I have a 76 CB750 which doesn't run at the moment, but I'm hoping to change that soon.  I was looking for a resource of knowledge so that I can learn more about my bike and work my butt off and have it ready and running by this coming season.

Welcome to the SOHC site.  One thing you will notice is we like pics.  So if you get a chance let's see that bike.  This group of guys here have a wealth of knowledge to share.  We love to see these vintage bikes saved from the junk pile.  So let's get started:  Do you know when the bike last ran?  Does the kickstart turnover to let us know the engine is not froze up?  Any history on the bike?  Do you know how to tell if there is spark?  Is the gas tank clean or rusty?  Are the carbs clean or dirty?  Did you pick up a service manual yet?  Those are just a few things we like to know as you get started...remember...this is fun!!! ;D
