I think the sheer number of forum folks in Portland (or the general area) should push the 'get together' for somewhere near that area.  That said, aren't we having a beer get together to welcome Mlinder back to the area?

Over 600 miles from the Bay Area of California is a bit far for most of us. Most couldn't take 5 or 6 days off to attend something up there.

Sorry guys but not gonna happen this year for me. Things are going downhill like a freight train on greased rails right now and I don't know how bad the crash is gonna be. I don't want to bore you as it seems I usually post here with bad news and by now most of you think I'm a major downer. Suffice it to say that Rita is back on indefinite hold, the few things I need I can't pull off this year unless a miracle happens and if you know me miracles and I have never met.
