I sold one of those on CL about 2 years ago. I am missing a lot of my audio gadgets I sold off lately, and with my new found free time I have been hooking up what I have left in the garage and making some godawful noises myself. I wish it was warm enough out there for my vinyl, I am building a "DJ Coffin" for my turntables this week and it would be cool to actually be able to use it.

Throw some phasing and distortion on the Theremin and you can rock out all day and night!

Hey Gerhed,
Do you use a Theramin? I have an inexpensive, stripped down model that has an antenna for pitch, but none for volume. I use a volume pedal to control the amplitude.
Behringer has had a huge impact on the audio world. Amazing how they can make the stuff so cheaply. Chinese ingenuity and pay scale.

In some respects the Theremin is very difficult to play so I
have resigned myself to creating "textures".
The Behringer Virtualizer Pro has about 500 different possible effects--way too many--
That may be why it's gone out of production--most people just want 3 or 4 pedals--I would think.
The thing belongs in an audio lab or something--fun to screw around with, though

I've said this before, but you have the best stuff.  Train signals, rail bike, electric 3 wheeler.  Just cool stuff.
Go metric, every inch of the way!

At the beginning of the millennium, I purchased a similar unit by TC. I think I payed $1500. At the time I had a commercial recording studio, and used it to apply mostly reverb effects. About a year after I got it, convolution ( sampled reverb technique) software started to be available as cracks for free that sounded really great, and my machine had a very small value. But Behringer stuff has always been very inexpensive comparatively.

Same deal here, I had 2 of those TC units, and took a beating on them and all the black box stuff I sold when hard times hit. I have all the virtuals in the world, but I miss my real hardware
