Nope, but at least I have one of the three running right now.  I need to drop my son off at daycare on one of these warmer days so I can get some work done in the garage.

Spring that's a myth ( Squalls of the snow type here today ), this has got to be the only time of year when I regret leaving California.

Spring? Right around the corner? Really?

I think we have had about 70" of snow so far and just heard we are expecting 4-8" more tomorrow. :'( >:(

The buds came out on the trees five days ago and the birds are moving around like marauding gangs. It is still cold here (22 at night, 40's during the day, and yes I know that is nothing compared to some) and yesterday I heard the distinct sound of my frozen stones hitting the pavement and shattering ( working on a leather and fur lined cod piece as we speak). Better than a cup of coffee to get the blood moving. My recent circumstances left me no choice. Had to sell my two project jeeps, my broken and soon to die daily driver Jeep last week. Luckily a great friend and cancer warrior Camille is now picking up my daughter for school, so I got off my duff and went back through the bike to fix and fiddle. I have been riding for the last week or so and will continue until the bike says no. No plans for the four wheel cage any time soon, but I think I will be starting work on another 750 in March. Nasty little rebuild, but all in all a learning experience. This is the best time to ride in my opinion, since HOT is around the corner as well, and traffic stops suck in July/August. Stay warm mates, keep your head above your @$$ and keep looking at the road!!!

Spring is officially 2 weeks away for me....it is my annual trek down to sunny Florida for 2 weeks of lazing in a heated pool and drinking cheap American booze!! By the time I come back and feel refreshed I can actually see the light at the end of the tunnel!

Oh and as far as the bikes being ready as for the CBR I just have to put the battery back in and snap all the plastic back on and it should be good to go! The CX500, I still have some wrenching to do. I did some electrical clean up and the carbs were pulled and cleaned over the winter but I still need to install my speedbleeder and replace the brake fluid. Check and adjust the rear brakes. Adjust the valves and cam chain and button her all back up. I may get into the garage tonight and get the worst of it done. The wife is working from 7-midnight and I'll have the kids in bed by 8:30 or so and there is no Leaf game on so why not freeze my butt in the garage and drink some Canadian booze?

I am soooooo ready for spring. I have been riding quite a bit lately, whenever it is over 40 and not raining, even with 30-40mph wind gusts last week. I have had nothing but time lately so the bike is in tip top shape, barring an occasional tinkling of gas from carb 3's overflow tube, that I will fix by swapping carbs next time weather says it will be too cold for 3-4 days and the UPS man brings the set of carb sync jammies I just bought from spikey.

Here is where I have spent at least 70% of my time since I got let go from my job 3 weeks ago

Seems to me that the rodent known as a groundhog saw his shadow and we get 6 more weeks of winter.  Like everybody else in the northern climate, I am looking at going for a ride.  My latest project is just about finished.
Even if the weather gets nice enough to ride, there is still the sand and gravel on the road which is always a concern.  Typically, the road maintenance companies don't get the sand etc cleaned up until May.
We got lots of blue ski and the snow and ice is melting slowly but riding is still along ways off.
Maybe I'll have to go to the sled dog races this weekend and get the silly notion of ridng out of my head.
