wrong spokes???

i cant get my bucannans ss spokes past the points shown in the pictures (rear hub, 71 cb750)......anybody else have this problem? did they send me the wrong ones or am i missing something?..........btw the front spokes worked out perfect.

I just recently did my rear wheel with Buchy spokes. They hung up at the same place you described. A small push got them past that point, after which they were free in the hole and the assembly continued without problem.

It did leave a little nick on the hub at each hole. Afterwards, I thought I could have opened up the hole just the slightest bit with the next largest drill at the proper angle.

If you have time call them Monday, or do what i did.

thanks mc.......it seems like their hung up pretty hard......i used quite a bit of pressure to try and get them through....i will call them on monday unless i can figure it out...........anybody else?

What kinda paint did you use and could that have any factor in the fitment? I followed MCRiders thread when he did his and I am going to do the same in due time to the spares I have...
Your hubs and rims look nice too. 8)

Hmmm, that's too bad. The pressure I applied was not what i would call a lot, just a push with my thumb and they popped around the corner.

I wonder what they'll say, let us know.

thanks goon...i used VHT brake caliper paint (satin black) i dont think its on thick enough to affect the fittment like that
