I had my first introduction to mr black and scratchy a few months ago and my rear left turn signal was shorn off leaving me with just a buzzing stump. I bought a fairly clean looking set of signals off Ebay (I have 4 and only need one so if anybody needs one...) but when I finally got them I realized that there are no mounting tube things, just the signals. Does anybody have one? I don't need the grab bar, just the metal tube thing that the signal clamps on to. Actually, I could also use the bolt and nut as well as the bolt that holds on the exhaust under the shifter pedal.

Pretty sure a standard 82 CB650 set would work...?

Located in New York City and have cash/paypal or maybe trade one of my new-er signals? Also have a spare stock mirror if anyone needs one.

Thanks weird beard. Not sure I want to mess with an alternator swap at this stage in the game...maybe I'll just live with the scratches for now.

I just need one of the two bolts that holds the two sections of the exhaust together...oh yeah, and one of the little round orange reflectors on the side of the headlight.

If you end up finding that mount thing send me a PM so we can work out $$. If any one else needs an extra signal let me know.

The nitehawk is diff from the 82 standard. Or the other 650's for that matter.  The other 650's (79 is diff yet) use the tail lite mount.

Have you looked at any good pics(or a microfiche) to see if a DOHC cb650 part might do?

Also what do the European Z model use?
I can't remember right offhand.

Good luck though!!

#$%*, you're right. I do believe they are the same signals though...presumably with the same mounts, just in a different location.

This setup is completely narrowed to that year.  The 82 650 SC is somewhat of a missing link between the real nighthawks and the 650 customs.  I have no taillights or hardware but i do have an extra inner rear fender and a set of handlebars in great shape.  They're yours if you wanna pay the shipping.

I just sold an Instrument panel on ebay a few months ago hoping to get some good coin for it but it only fetched $10 +shipping.  That guy in Norway got a smoking deal on a near mint piece!

I have the remains of an '82 650 SC I've been parting out. Sold most of the mechanical and all he bodywork. I just have bits of plastic, lights, gauges (in km)

Not trying to sell my junk on your thread, just clearing up that it is off an SC

Sweet. This is my beast of choice after all... Let me know if you find that mount thing, the reflector, and...do you have a seatbelt/grab strap thing?

???

Sorry, I need the little reflector guy that screws into the side of the headlight mount...and the uh, rubber strap on the seat that yer passenger holds onto? Says Honda on it? ...You know what... If I could just get the turn signal mount and the bolt and nut that holds the turn signal together I can at least ride semi-legally.
