Topic: 76 750a tank on a 76 F

Will a 750A gas tank fit on the 76F without any mods?

I've put a '78 k tank on a '75 f to check out the look  , as far as I know the the 750A and the '77-'78 k tanks are the same dimensions and shape. It has been several years ago, if I remember right there was a little gap between tank and stock seat, that tank looks good, nice and wide  . maybe some of the 750A guys can clarify if these tanks are the same as the later K models.
