Soooooo, I'm assuming that you rewired the furnace to the circuit box sans switch?
Nope, but I did install a heavy-duty switch in it's place. That circuit is still on a breaker, but the box is outside on the back of the house. I like the idea of having an easily accessible switch that shuts off the power to the basement.
