rear brake return spring,couple ?s
« on: February 23, 2009, 10:42:47 AM »
OK I know dumb ? but I forgot. rear brake(pedal) thru frame and the spring goes on back, one side of the spring wraps around lever, what stops the other end of the spring, I see a hole just above it maybe for a bolt? Also does the center stand slap all the way up to the left bracket that holds the exhaust and rear footpeg? Las but not least (for now) I have 1 piece leftover and I cant find it on the honda ficshe. I believe it went on the left side by chain but not sure. Best I can describe it is its about 3 inches long with a welded on bolt and a acorn nut looks like a tube moght go thru it as its recessed. I would take a pic but my good computer took a crap.....thanks-alot......luder ps Next time I will take more pics dureing the build.

If I remember correctly, the brake return spring rests against part of the frame (center, cross frame rail). Don't quote me on that, but I'm pretty sure. As for the other little part you have, that is a drain hose routing device. There is a small hole in between the lower, rear engine mount bolt and the swing arm bolt on the right side of the bike. It fits in from the inside of the frame. Part #1 in the center of this fiche:
