I found a Hein Gericke riding Jacket used for $40 two years ago.  Fits perfectly.  Ok, maybe a little short in the sleeves but barely.  I don't think they knew what they had on the rack.  I've laid the bike down twice wearing that jacket and it protected me very well each time.  Scratches just make it look cooler.  I wish it had armor but if I want I can get that myself, thinking about getting the Draggin Jeans back armor for it.

I kind of want to put one of these on the back of the jacket.

Cause... it's true. And maybe people would notice it.

not cause I want to die or become a quad, but cause I can't bring myself to go spend 2 months rent or more on all that modern gear.

All of this cost me $160. A worthwhile investment if you consider the alternatives.

That gives me the idea that a dartboard sewn in with pieces of colored leather on the back of a jacket would look great, any thoughts?

Lol. And I mean a real laugh out loud, not just a written one.   :D

I don't think you'll sell many jackets though, all those w@nkers will only buy it if it's a singlet.  ;D

I haven't found a leather (riding) jacket I like yet.
they're all too big in the chest and not designed to be worn while in the fetal position.

come to think of it, I pretty much wear what I have on and just ride.
unless it's shorts and flipflops, that's just asking for it.

I think I've seen a few of your videos where you're screaming up and down some street and you are barefooted!
And, I'm pretty sure you were wearing shorts, as well.

Suomy full face helmet, Dainese leather jacket...jeans with Alpinestars shoes for commuting and normal driving.  when i get FAST on the 999, i wear Alpinestars leather pants and Sidi boots, OH, and Icon gloves.

in the city, sometimes i wear my open face with googles.  But always a jacket and Gloves and either full or open helmet.

Cool. Calm. Relaxed style. Safety nazis hate me. Been riding 29 years, and yes I've gone down a few times.
I usually wear a leather jacket and full face just because it's lamost always cold here. But when it's warm I break out the 3/4 and goggles or shades.

black full face, A stars track jacket, A stars sx3's boots, standard leather gloves w/ carbon knuckles and pads...sometimes A stars track pants ( in the hills ) usually thick jeans or carhart work pants. Kind of crotch rockety....but hey when I bought all this gear I was 20 years old with a cbr so there you have it!

Man, I never get on any of my bikes without my full face helmet.  I was driving in traffic on the freeway last year and took a rock right in the face shield.  Right about where my upper teeth are (and thanks to the shield they are still there!) No idea which vehicle it came from or how far it bounced.  Happened in an instant.  I have an inch and a half gash in the shield as a reminder that full face helmets work!
I think the half size skid lids are cool though, but I do value my front teeth.

speaking of wounds, I wouldn't mind having a John Locke scar.

that's the coolest scar you could ever get.
