Anyone else seen this 2002 remake of the original 70's Russian film.  Moody, physiological, supernatural, thought provoking sci-fi starring George Clooney and the beautiful and elegant Natascha McElhone.  It is worth watching the movie just to see her.

I watched it several years ago, because it's exactly the type of movie I really enjoy.

Unfortunately, I absolutely hated it.  I'm typically a huge fan of Steven Soderbergh's work, so maybe my expectations were too high, I don't know.  But this remake just seemed completely pointless to me.
