Oh.......another thing.....back in the 80's,I worked for a trucking company that did electronic transportation (computers). We had a driver down in LA that accidently put diesel in a gas powered bobtail. He got a block or 2 and the truck died. He realized his mistake and had to get the diesel out and gasoline back in.When the truck finally started,I guess it back-fired or something and burned the truck down to the ground with halfa million $$$ worth of equip. in the back!!!! They sent the charred remains (of the equip.) back up to us in San Jose for the insurance to look at.
Just think..now days the same computing power that cost "halfa million $$$" you now have in a single laptop.  ;)

Diesel??? Rudolph Diesel??! Are you serious?! He is one of the lot that has put us up with these inefficient stinking hot furnaces that happen to have wheels. Are you aware that around 70% of the potential in diesel fuel is lost in heat (exhaust and radiator)??!. I've always learned that back then (beginning of the 20th century) the first cars were electric cars and everybody expected them to stay and develop further. It was not before the big fires in San Francisco (1906) that the direction of development changed as electric fire engines eventually ran out of power where the ones with internal combustion engines prooved reliable. That was the turning point in the history of carmaking, I'm told. Sad, sad, sad and personally I can't wait till we're all moving around with silent, clean and efficient electric motors. An electric motor in every wheel, even a child can think of that! It should have happened long, long ago and would have happened if fossil fuels had not been so damned cheap. Yeah... cheap..., just look at the price we'll all be facing soon. Rudolph Diesel?? If one man has got us in reverse it's him. Besides: what farmer needs a submarine in his garden?
I'm all for electric power if you can show me a system that can provide the same torque per lb. of mass and cost of fuel.

Grandpa filled his Super M with diesel once.  It ran like a john deere the whole next day.

I know a girl that filled a diesel school bus with gas...to "correct" the problem, they added a few quarts of oil.  I think it turned out ok.
Enjoying life, one day at a time.

It won't hurt the CT 70....In about 1966, my Dad drove his CHERRY 1963 Porsche up to Monterey Ca from L.A. He ALWAYS pumped his own fuel. Well He pulled into a Signal gas station and proceded to fill his Porsche with what he thought was Regular Gasoline. The attendant finally came out just as my Dad was finished filling the tank and asked "Do you know you just filled your car with Diesel?" Well my dad craped a twinkie!. He drained as much as he could and filled it with premium. He said it smoked and ran kinda poor until he burned some of it off and topped the tank off again.
It is much worse to put gasoline in a diesel than vice versa.

OMG.  :'(
