« on: February 25, 2009, 12:57:35 AM »
So as part of my rebuild im taking the front end apart. Just discovered that my front brake was held on by just one bolt and some silicone, gotta love handywork! just wanted to rant a little.

That is really bolt, to just use one bold to holt on the brake.  Was the other bolt hole ok, or is it stripped?

Yes, got that.  I know where Arrow is, my sister and her feller sold him a junker a few years ago.  Maybe 15 years ago.  Time flies.  I used to work for a print shop that prints stuff for him, too.  I'll swing in there one of these days...

Back on subject. I found that the PO of my bike only had 1 bolt holding on the front caliper too. That explained that rattle on the front end. Kinda odd as your staring at the front of your bike as your riding it paying no attention to where your going trying to figure out whats rattling.

Got to love a hack
