quick s90 turn signal
« on: February 28, 2009, 08:59:04 PM »
ok my brother is finishing up fixin our s90 and wants to put turn signals on it now someone we quickly talked to said the turn signals are the same as my cb350f

this might sound like a stupid question but the s90 is a 6v system while the cb is 12v will the cb lights work in the s90 ? or would something in the fixture have to be replace example just the bulb ?

thanks

james
There is nothing to fear but fear itself . . . and trying to restore a cb350f

I use 12 volt bulbs on 6 volt systems quit often. They work fine. After all voltage is a maximum rating, but you couldn't use 6 volt bulbs on a 12 volt system. They would probably burn out real quick.

You will need to fit 6 volt bulbs and flasher can with the bulbs being the correct load for the can--don forget the "idiot" light needs to be there as well to get the load right
