Handle bar grips

The Question is whether to go with OEM, or Gel grips. I do have a problem riding very long in town where you have to use the grips a lot, my hands tend to go to sleep. I have seen gloves with gel palms. what is the consenses.

Go with the grips that feel the best and allow you the most seat time, forget the oem's unless it's a showpiece.
