Which frame for my cafe build? K4, K6, or F3?
« on: March 01, 2009, 05:54:19 PM »
After bringing home a K6 frame with a 16"wheel thanks to Otto's courtesy I've been thinking...  (and I don't know if that's a good thing)

Here's where I'm at.  I have torn down my ugly F3 with the intention to make it better.

I have a Rickman half fairing for it.

Anyway, I have a K4 frame with title in the garage, Otto's K6 no title, and my F3 with no title.  The title doesn't really matter to me.  I'm not going to build this thing to sell out of the state and Maine doesn't require one.

Are there advantages / disadvantages to one frame over the others?  I'll probably run the Comstars and paint them black.  I like the length of the F3 swingarm...

I'm probably overthinking it all, but was curious from a performance perspective if the K frame would have any advantage over the F.

Thanks~

I'm pretty sure the F was built for more power and better handling, the F engine put out just a smidge more oomph
