Yes, it was only a blown fuse. Just going to get the fuse made me pissed to be driving a car. I was sitting in traffic just staring between the two lanes thinking I could be there and back by now.
I had the same thing happen to me last summer. Leaving a green arrow, left turn, cage on my ass and when I get half way to 3rd...silence
Turned out to be a blown fuse...but what caused the fuse to blow
LOW BATTERY!!!!!
Check you battery level it may be the culprit. I topped mine back up and I road 2500km no issues after
As for spare fuses I always carry spares no matter what I drive.
I did find however the glass fuses are harder and harder to find in remote communities in Newfoundland so I changed them out for Mini Fuses.
FYI: I'm getting a maintenance free AGM battery this summer
