I'll second that nomination.

Is there a build thread?

I do not think he has a build thread but he does have a before and after pic in the 750 registry.
I don't have a motorcycle, sold it ('85 Yamaha Venture Royale).  Haven't had a CB750 for over 40 years.

Dan and I are good friends and ride together all the time.
It sucks riding with him because all I do is stare at his bike the whole time!
I was lucky enough to watch him build the bike and also help out here and there.
It is one of my fave Cafe's and an inspiration for my eventual 750 build which will be a "stylistic brother" to his bike.
You can hear that bike coming from a mile away!

thanks shane,    i mean "leaky"
but you better start watching the traffic.  i dont feel like peeling you off the concrete.
don't take me too seriously.

Aw cheers guys, bike is near enough to completion for me to accept the nomination.
I feel absolutely humbled to be in such classy company as the other bikes nominated.
I bet the Officer who rode this machine all those years ago never dreamed his "work horse" would be in an international competition ha ha.

I think the thing I most like about motorcycling is the speed at which my brain must process information at to avoid the numb skulls who are eating pies, playing the ukulele, applying make-up etc in the comfort of their airconditioned armchairs as they make random attempts to kill me!!!!!!!

I third Hush's bacon.  Er, I mean bike.  Man. That picture of bacon is almost as bad as some of the girly avatars.

Anyway, I think his bike is definitely deserving of consideration, it's a beautiful restoration of a hardcore justice machine!

Personally, with all the "outlaw" bikes here Hushes Evil Knievel is a refreshing change.

One rare ride.

Plus he would probably beat all those racey cafe's in a "Bull Run" anyways since if he got stuck in traffic he could just fire up the lights and sirens and everyone would get out of his way! Not to mention no cop in their right mind would pull him over for speeding!!  ;D

That thing must be hella loud.  I bet the cops love you when they pull you over.  Looks like a list of items they could git you fer.

That tank makes a big difference in the looks of it.
