Guess I'll have to go against the grain and say grey with a red accent. But then again, don't because that's more or less what I want to do. Maybe.

I'm just weird, but I think it'd be neat to do a design with a matte backdrop and pretty, deep, glossy highlights.

Hmmm..... let me see.....  Perhaps I'm fond of RED?

Actually, I need to post a poll if everyone will participate. I'm going to dig up the colors that it's down to, and you guys are gonna vote. I simply cannot decide. ;D

You do know that you can always change colors by repainting it, right?.  I mean, it's not like naming a child.

Met someone named Delice once.  Couldn't help thinking his mother saw the name on her chart at the hospital (think "de-lice").

Then there was this girl name Gonorrhea.  She pronounced it like Gloria.

Gotta love NYC.

There are a bunch of pictures on my thread of the stock paint.
Scratches and dents all over it or else I would have left it. I like brown.

Well, I prefer the black primer to the grey primer.  And then there is always red primer.  Black primer reminds me of the Ducati Monster "Dark".  Imagine spending a ton of money to buy a brand new bike that was painted in primer?  Especially a nice Ducati that should be red after all.

Oh, by the way, I've read that primer can attract moisture and facilitate rust, so it is not adviseable to leave rattle-can primer exposed to the elements for too long.  I don't know all the details about that, but it might be better to use BBQ grill paint or even matte black finish coat paint.

That being said, I have some formerly chrome-finished plastic bits on my GL1200 painted in black sandable primer, and I think it looks great.

We have high humidity here.
I primed my 78 futura in the late 90s and It made it from march to about january the next year without anything serious. I did have to buzz sand it before I primed it again.
But that car was outside all the time, and never washed. I hated that car.  >:(
Once, I drained all the oil out of it and drove it to and from school for a week.
Nothing happened. I came home one day and my foster dad was like, I hear your engine ticking. He checks the oil. I tried to look innocent as he scolded me for not checking the oil.
Oh, I didn't know :-[
F*cking inline 6's. You can't kill em.
Just look 754. It hurt me to do. It was pretty even effed up.

c'mon, Ford Futura rocked!  I'd imagine it looked kinda cool in primer.  Sure says a lot about a car to run for a week with no oil.  Can't knock Ford quality, even in 1978!!!

2.   Eggshell refers to low-sheen finish with a gloss range between 20 and 35 when measured at a 60-degree meter.
3.   Semi-gloss refers to medium-sheen finish with a gloss range between 35 and 70 when measured at a 60-degree meter.
4.   Full gloss refers to high-sheen finish with a gloss range more than 70 when measured at a 60-degree meter.

Ha!  I had a 1979 Mercury Grand Marquis.  Luckily, I acquired it for $50.  I hated it at first, but it kinda grew on me, you know?  I backed into one of those concrete-filled steel poles in a McDonald's parking lot once.  The Merc was not even scratched.  The pole was bent a good few inches!

Queen-sized bench front seat.  I'd go to the beach for weekends and never need to get a motel room.

I tried running it without coolant, though.  Oil probably would have been OK for a while, but coolant?  No.

>:(
Hated it!
