Topic: Need photos for 500/550 basket case...

I sure would like to have access to teardown/buildup photos of 500/550. I'm putting a basket case back together with only benefit of FS and parts manuals. In particular, I presently wish to have a good look at how the wiring harness and electrics et al look on the frame.

You should buy another 550 that is fully assembled and running and comapare it to that!   Works for me.

I do have a 78 550k that is more or less tore down to a rolling frame with electrics intact.  The motor is also partially disassembled...probably more so after tonight.   Let me know what other particular things you would like photagraphed and I'll see what I can do.  Wont be till later tonight though.  Later.

 I have one torn down. It is a 72 cb500. Will that work for you? I'll take some pics tonight after I get back.

Hey, Paul Thanks for the help... and, your help has been substantial. Already, I see a part that was a complete mystery until your photos.

Would you please post a closer shot of the neck of the frame including coil packs?
