K8 throttle cable length?
« on: March 04, 2009, 11:13:25 AM »
Hey, does anybody know the length of the stock push-pull cables on a K8? I'm ordering new ones from Z1 and they offer one that's like 45.5  inches long with 5.75 inches of slack, and then another cable that's 45 inches long with 3.25 inches of slack. I need both a push and a pull cable. Any help here would be greatly appreciated.

Geez torrinh,
I wish you had posted that last week, I had mine off my 78 750K but they are installed now. Sorry dude. :(

Just be patience, you'll get an answer...guaranteed. ;)

Any luck with the search function?

I can measure when I get home. Mine are off the bike.

You could just shoot Z1 an email.  I'm pretty sure one is the push and one is the pull, they just don't have them labeled as such.
