just in case this needs to be said, the videos fake. and your very funny, really. the way you figure out some clever way to insult everyone, and than act as if you know everything there is worth knowing... really great stuff.

Any time the name Danzig comes up in this forum I post that Shakira and Danzig video.

Danzig may very well be gay. He is the definition of those meat head tough guys, not a big fan, but he was awesome in the Misfits. Nothing else.

But I was actaully being serious about danzig. I really had heard he was gay. I could certainly be wrong and was just wondering if anyone else had heard that.

I think I should have made the post heading Metal/Hard Rock Band rather than just Metal.  I feel like if we listen to one, we listen to the other.  If I could change the title I would.  With that said, lets not narrow it down to Metal!  I wanna talk about others too!  I love old AC/DC!  Anyone here see them live in the 80's?  Like a Back in Black tour or For Those About to Rock tour?  I was kid, no way I able to make it to a show. 

Danzig:  HAHAHA!!! :D  I had heard about this video.  It's great.  I like early Danzig as well though.  I don't care that the guy's a douche.  And by all accounts he probably is ::).  I saw a show several years ago, members of Samhain, members of the misfits all played separate sets while Glenn Danzig sang for each band, then A.F.I. played.  This is back when A.F.I. was a lot faster and harder.  Then Danzig headlined.  Although it was a good show, it was a little to much Glenn Danzig for one evening. I've never been a HUGE fan of any of those bands either.

Anyone a Murder City Devils Fan?  They're playing the Sasquatch fest up here in the N.W. pretty soon.  My girl friend and I are thinking of going.  I'd LOVE to see them live.

I have seen ACDC with Bon Scott and the later incarnation. they were a regular pub band in the seventies in Sydney......great band....Better with Bon though....

I listen to a lot of extreme metal (black, death, doom, viking etc). The list could go on forever but some of my favorites are Emperor, Amon Amarth, Black Sabbath (all era's), Behemoth, Belphegor, Marduk, Carpathian Forest, Nachtmystium, Watain, 1349, Immortal, Testament, Goatwhore, Celtic Frost, Skinless, Nile among many others.

I also play bass for a band called Sicadis if any of you guys want to check it out (shameless self-plug) you can do so at www.myspace.com/sicadis. We're comparable to Shadows Fall, In Flames, Testament etc.
