  It's not often you get to see someone turn into an Old Timer right before your very eyes. It was kind of scarey...watching that old, shakey, painful limp to the line. :o

Should get the head back anyday now. The bottom end still has to be pulled down, Cases have to be cleaned, Jugs opened up, Crank has to be balenced, then we can start building.
Chris has not got all the funds in place as yet, so he's not rushing, that will start when next season is looming.

Don't own one, but my dad has a Ducati Multistrada 1000DS that is, I have to say sweet!  Amazing torque and just a blast but not a very comfy riding position.

No I don't have anything newer than 1985 and that was only because it was a great deal. Whiule I do appreciate the quantum advances in power per liter, handling, braking and such, hey all appear to be generic cookie cuttered items. The fully enclosed multicolored wild graphics do nothing for me. To me a motorcycle has spoked wheels. And an exposed engine.

I agree, but I must say the mid to late 90s Ducati Monster looks, sounds and rides like a 'real' bike, if you can get used to the incredible torque from the V twin??

i read an article in the latest motorcyclist magazine where they tested a triumph daytona 675 triple.they liked it.if i was in the market for a sport bike i would take a hard look at it.
