Anyone have recommendations for teas? I usually just buy Earl Grey because I like it so much. It's nice to take a break from coffee sometimes.

I'm quite fond of the Golden Monkey, and I've been drinking the Sencha Extra fine and liking it.

Their white tip earl grey is really good- not overpowering bergamot like some others.

Gunpowder Green Tea is my favorite.

I keep my cubbard stock with this stuff.

It is good for relaxing, when sick, hungover, or even getting cafinated!

I drink Yerba Mate. It is a South American tea, and not for everybody cause it is pretty powerful. I get it loose and have a guampa and bombilla to drink it. You can make it with hot water, cold water (it is drunk cold in Paraguay, and called terere), lemonade, tequila, etc. Here is the wikipedia link:

I am extremely fond of a blended loose leaf tea that contains Darjeeling, Ceylon, and Earl Grey. It is specially blended close to here for a chain of local Indian stores. The Bergamot is muted by the Darjeeling and Ceylon, but the hint comes through, an excellent blend. I usually have at least one pot a day and use 2 and a half tblspns per pot. An 8.75 Oz. package usually lasts me just about a month so a great deal for $5.70.

I always drink Earl Grey. No milk, no lemon, no nothing....

I once went into a branch of Starbucks (it was in Greenwich) and asked for Earl Grey; "would you like standard or decaf, Sir?"

Decaf Earl Grey? Surely only in Starbucks....

Republic of tea- Honey Ginseng Green Tea, comes in unbleached packets.
I like it straight, good afternoon pick-up when you are trying to curb the caffine intake.

Green tea, no milk, no sugar, refreshing as a refreshing thing. Makes coffee taste thick and gooey.

Celestial seasonings makes one called 'lemon zinger' that i like alot. it has hibiscus in it which gives it a tangy taste that really wakes you up. it's like you can feel it in your face. it's a green tea but they have a decaf version which is herbal. Otherwise if you want a break from morning coffee prolly try an irish or english breakfast tea, with a little milk or cream. or perhaps a bloody mary?

Another fan of specialteas. I order 2-3 times a year; about $170 worth of tea at a time. Favorites include their Oolongs, Fine Lung Ching, Fine Sencha, Three Cups Fragrance, and Pu Erh.

Working for a Japanese Company, we have dozens of teas. Some are really good, however the names are in Japanese.

Black Teas, Irish blends; Lyons, Barrys....if I'm absolutely stuck... P.G. Tips ( it's English !), 5min. brew time, then enough milk to make it the color you would love yer spark-plugs to be every time you take'em out to look at them !!
