Funny thing that Wolf, as a bike rider you will notice the morons quicker, something to do with evolution and survival. ;D
I think the thing I most like about motorcycling is the speed at which my brain must process information at to avoid the numb skulls who are eating pies, playing the ukulele, applying make-up etc in the comfort of their airconditioned armchairs as they make random attempts to kill me!!!!!!!

I ran into one little (hopefully) problem now. Carb one is overflowing. I turned the bike on and watched it real close. It looks like its leaking from the top of the float bowl where it attaches to the carb itself. I'm thinking a bad gasket, but I just had them rebuilt. Maybe the guy doing it pinched the gasket in there???

sometimes those gaskets don't seat real well.  Oddly enough, I also had one that swelled or something... OEM gasket. It developed a 'burp' in the o-ring and wouldn't settle into the groove at all, being probably 1cm too long (!) so I replaced it with one of my keyster gaskets and no problems. 

In a real pinch, you could use a TINY thin layer of a GAS PROOF sealant/gasket goo to seal it up. I really stress those three words because any extra might get sucked into your jets (because carbs hate people and will do that crap on purpose) and 'fuel resistant' only means like "until you get the carbs on".  I had 2 extra rebuilds for those reasons. ::)

Are you sure the float on that carb hasn't just jammed momentarily? many say tap on the side with end of screwdriver but as Kit pointed out....carbs hate us so tehy will probably fall off or break just to freak you out.
I prefer to put all the drain tubes into a clear jar then release the drain plugs on all the carbs and see what turns up in the jar.
Tighten your drain plugs and then turn the gas back on, this seems to work for me when my floats jam.....which they haven't done for a while cos I talked to them real nice and bought them new isolators from Soos.
