  • I have to return some videotapes.
Wow!!

I'm surprised I made the cover!!!

I sent them a small thing I wrote a while ago in Iraq when they solicited pieces from military members who were deployed about "how they coped with motorcycle withdrawal."

I sent a little thing I slammed together in about 30 minutes and thought nothing of it.  Then I find out that they want some pictures, so I take some over there and send them, but then they want "bike photos", so when I got back, then sent out a Photog and we took a bunch of shots.

I've got a bunch from the shoot, but I am not where I have my magazine now, so I can't wait to see what they used!!!

We took a bunch on the 400F and a bunch with 2/3 the collection.

This will be interesting!  I am very humbled and thank you all!!!

So, the strategy is to lie to people you are asking for help?

I think I'll be busy going for a ride.

Good luck!

Proud to see appreciation for your efforts, it's hard to put it together when your overseas and away.  Way to go with a great job on the bike and to pull it together for them to make the cover.  You've gone above and beyond in so many ways, salute.

that's cool! I would want you to sign a copy as well!  You're like a "local celebrity".

There's an idea... we should have an "autograph book" of all the builders who've been published with their bikes...  Or at least a thread about it.

Heh, heh.  We took quite a few shots IN gear, but some out, and I guess they liked that one.  :D

I wish.  Even with a 32" inseam, the mighty 750 is just too tall to flatfoot.  :(  I flatfoot my 400F just fine though.  ;D

nice bike ;)

You would know!  ;D 8)
