i found a mandolin!

does anyone here have a mandolin (f type preferred) that they want to sell to a fellow member/music lover? for cheap or maybe trade for some parts? i am going to be having some surgery on my left ankle and will be out of commission for a few weeks and i want something to keep me busy challenged. i taught myself the guitar and bagpipes so i figure i can teach myself the mandolin this time. i know i wont get a fender or a martin, but if you have something i could use please please let me know.

Dam, I just saw one at a yard sale a few weeks ago. It was under $50.00 and almost scooped it up. If I can remember where it was I'll swing in and see if they ever sold it. Shoot me an email with some contact info and I'll see what I can do.

Bagpipes eh? That one instrument I've intended to tackle for a number of years. How did you start out?

Fuzz, there are mandolins all over the country where I'm at but right now (I'm on break) the roof is
of the kitchen end of the house and for the next 2 days I'll be working real long hours. When I get a bit
caught up if you haven't found one I'll see what's out there.

brought home the new mandolin today!  this is just a stock pic from fender. i'm very happy with this mandolin, nice and loud
