'74 750k4. I've got the Final Drive Flange assembly off and I'm spinning the inner ring of the 6305 bearing there and its giving me a little resistance. Looks like an old style, and from what I read here, its pretty easy to replace. I probably will. My question is mostly with the other (2) 6304 bearings in the rear wheel.
How do I know if these are good? The bike has never run for me, it was someones abandoned project. Don't know the total mileage. It did roll fine though before I took it all apart. I assume I should be able to spin the inner ring of these bearings by wedging a couple of fingers in there? but I can't get them to move. Is this the case for good bearings?
Also, There is clearly some damage to the drum side bearing (see photo). Is this a deal breaker?
Also, also, These are NTN bearings? Were these ever stock or has someone been messing around in here?
I'd rather not work in this wheel if I don't have to. I've read all the posts here on it but never done this job before. Thanks!
