Keeping Valve Covers from sticking

I did my first ever tuneup on my bike today, and it worked!! WOOHOO!!! Synced my carbs and now she purrs almost like a kitty :D  Sadly in the process I really buggered a couple of the tappet covers because they were on too tight  :'(  So to keep this from happening again I am wondering if it would be a bad idea to use the anti-seizing thread stuff. I've used it elsewhere on my bike with very good results. The engine side cover screws come off pretty easy now.

Any thoughts??

Sparingly is how it's intended to be used, and a slight coating of silicone grease on the o-ring is what I use.  You don't have to tighten those covers down much either, since the o-ring takes care of the sealing task.
