No...I was at Miller's for a couple of other racing events.  As I've been reading Max Lambsky's tale of his Black Lightning and the book, "World's Fastest Motorcycle" (some of my photos from the 08 Shootout will be in the new version...if all goes well) I've come to realize that I've been missing a hell of a lotta good racing at BUB.  So it's on my calendar for this year.  I DID make it to all the other events last year, tho:

Photos there are grouped by event.  I'll cop to being more 4-wheel-oriented but that seems to be changing.  There'll be a lot more bikes in this coming year's events, not only on the salt but wherever I go to shoot.

Ahhh...that was done with Paint Shop Pro with an "artistic effect" called "Glowing Edges."  A nice feature in PSP is their random variable generator.  You can click on that and it'll keep coming up with different values for the effects.  Some of 'em are really unexpected.  This one, though, was pretty much what the name says.
