Topic: 4 into 1 Custom Header??

Hey guys,

By most standards this may sound rediculous, but I really want to find a 4 into header for my '72 CB500 to fit a late model exhaust can of some sort, like off a 2005 CBR or similar.  I've seen a couple of pics in some galleries of something similar but no info.  ANyone have any thoughts?

if you search the above post, page 2 at the top look what this kid did. took the old header pipes and had an after market pipe welded on looks nice to.

I run an old MAC4/1 header and had a stainless flange/adapter made to mount this  Two Brothers CBR 600rr can. Here is a pic, I need to do a new one as I fab'ed a new hanger for it the other night @ 1am...

If I hate it one day, or break it I can just bolt back up the MAC muffler, that is why I didn't weld it up.

Mac header chopped off at collector. Mid pipe is thin wall SS side rail from my old pool ladder and made a 1/8" flange to bolt a Gixxer can to.

I got a 4-1 on my bike and a stock muffler that im ditching and makeing my own drag pipe on my chopper project. Was almost gona run it as a stack with a rain cap on it like a trucker.

But I do like the idea and might go that route too. After all how hard can it be?
