Looks pretty good, especially the tan seat...I don't know about the "super 70s" paint scheme...it has a lot of neat goodies for the price though. Congrats!

I thought '74 was the first year for the 550?
EDIT: looks good for under $800 though.

what made you sell the 750?
the new purchase is pretty cool... i like the paint. keep it. unless, it only looks good from a distance, then paint it red and add a cherry bomb... i always liked that look

..yea, I hated to see the 78 go.
I put the bugger on craiglist for 1500 thinking I wouldn't get that for it, and a guy calls me satruday morning and says hes gonna take the bus from New Orleans to pick it up and ride it back. I have my 77F that will take its place. It has a windjammer, and I'm looking for a rear luggage rack/sissy bar. I have this crazy idea of going cross country on it. Of course I swapped out the nice set of tires, and anything chrome of the 78, and put it on the 77 before it left the house.

...oh yea...it'll be a haul. I just won it today, Baton Rouge to Dallas, TX is about 6 hours, so I think I'm gonna do a suicide run on Saturday and try and do it all in one day...
