Topic: sohc 750 cam markings

hello guys.i have a question that maybe some one will know what this is.i have two different cams that came from f series motors,one is a 77 the other is a78.they have RC3 molded on them near the cam sprocket.does any one know what that means,and is it anything special.one also has dd stamped on it by the bolt on the left side,the other has eh stamped on it.any help would be great.aw1

If it is molded into the cam rather than steel stamped in, it is probably just a mold number.

i was searching and found that the earlier cams sandies,and some others were marked the same way.they had r1 on them,so it must be like you said just a casting mark for the model of the motor.both these cams i asked about say rc 3 on them.must be code for the f motor for 77-78
