I need a nice letter drawn up from a big fancy lawer threatening to sue for discrimination. Also I should plan a big bike rally and invite 3-400 bikers to camp out in our courtyard for the weekend!

they wont let you keep your own motorcycle on the property? thats a load of bs on their part. i'd fight that if i was you mate. GREAT looking motorcycle by the way. i hope mine looks half as good when i finally get it done

I'm guessing no one would have complained were it not for the straight pipe noise in a condo complex.

The noise is probably why MCs are banned by the HOA.  Just a guess...

Loud pipes disturb and annoy lives.  One can expect reciprocation.  Few people like being poked in the eye or ear.  Some take steps to prevent it.  Laws and rules are often put in place after the abuse has been identified.

This pipe has a baffle believe it or not it isn't that loud. But the Covenance was written that way some 14 years ago and every development built by the builder here has the same set of rules. One rule states that any two unmarried adults 18 and over shall not cohabitate for more than 30 days. These condos are not rentals either!! WTF!!  I was here over a year before someone even reported my bikes. My other bike is an unfinished non-running GT380 which I am ordering expansion chambers for for Christmas. Now that will be loud, but I will be kepping her in my ourdoor storage closet. Still looking for some gt380 parts BTW.

What a party pooper! Unmarried adults 18 and over cohabiting for more than 30 days with motorcycles on the property is the best way to have fun!

Cool build, I've got my eye on it.

Cool looking bike.  Where did you get the velocity stacks?  I put pods on my 550 and they don't fit (not to mention they get in the way of the choke arm).

That sucks they are giving you crap about the bike in your community.
When I first moved to the Triangle I lived in a condo for a while. I got so many letters from the HOA I wanted to shoot them.
I didn't cut the grass on time, my garbage can was on the neighbors property, my mailbox needed to be replaced, I wasn't allowed to work on cars, etc.

My last night there, after I had gotten all my moving done, I did the longest full boost smokey burnout you would want to see with my open wastegated 944 Turbo at about 11pm just to say goodbye. I'm sure they pouted over 20 feet of 255 wide rubber marks x2 for a while.

Cary and all of their silly little rules can kiss my behind.

These were ment for a 350 or 450 twin and are are a bit large, but I made some gaskets from some rubber radiator hose to get them to stay on. I bought them brand new on ebay for 34.12 with shipping from this guy billscustomcycles@pa.metrocast.net. Good Luck.

Thanks- I just found them today from the same guy on ebay.  I see they have the aluminium screens.  Did you make an air filter for them?

I got the mid seventies Ford truck electronic regulator working great. I have done some pinstriping and blacked the side of the tank and added some vintage dirtbike decals. The rearsets are mountain bike Handlebar stems. I removed the passenger footpeg/muffler brackets from the frame, and dropped the center stand. I am running #98 main jets and I finally leaned out the fuel mixture and broke 100 MPH!!!! The tank is cleared with Spray Max 2K Urethane clear. <a href="http://s365.photobucket.com/albums/oo96/c_packer/?action=view&current=103_1998.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i365.photobucket.com/albums/oo96/c_packer/103_1998.jpg" border="0" alt="Tank"> <a href="http://s365.photobucket.com/albums/oo96/c_packer/?action=view&current=103_2003.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i365.photobucket.com/albums/oo96/c_packer/103_2003.jpg" border="0" alt="shifter peg"> <a href="http://s365.photobucket.com/albums/oo96/c_packer/?action=view&current=103_1970.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i365.photobucket.com/albums/oo96/c_packer/103_1970.jpg" border="0" alt="spencer1"> <a href="http://s365.photobucket.com/albums/oo96/c_packer/?action=view&current=103_2004.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i365.photobucket.com/albums/oo96/c_packer/103_2004.jpg" border="0" alt="brake rearset"> <a href="http://s365.photobucket.com/albums/oo96/c_packer/?action=view&current=103_2001.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i365.photobucket.com/albums/oo96/c_packer/103_2001.jpg" border="0" alt="air filter right">

Thanks, This is the third change to the tank and I think I'll stick with it. Also my first pinstryping job. I am getting bored with her now and concentrating on my GT380 project and my 1965 S90 project. I'll be selling this ol'girl soon.
