To those pointing out "Eldar's" faults,

I am not into the whole Jesus scene or the Bible what so ever, but I know there is a saying or scripture that states if any of you are perfect let you be the one to cast the first stone. We all do stupid things, we all have faults, you don't know what his home life was/is like. He could just be a wound up dude. He could just be a hipocritical @$$. I don't know him well enough to make that kind of judgement. Sounds like none of you do either. I didn't agree with everything he said/did, or even the majority of it, but I think you guys getting on here and talking about him after he is gone is not only pointless but pretty lame. I am not trying to start a fight, but if you had something you didn't like about the guy why not bring it up to him while he was around? I would expect anyone to do the same to me. I am sure you would want the same.

I did this and apparently he didn't like it that much, so he went and opened a "ways to subtly insult" thread, not a smart move if you want to avoid flak in my opinion. http://forums.sohc4.net/index.php?topic=47594.0

I am sure its been said before but if your going to give it make sure you can take it as well.

I have said nothing here that i wouldn't say to him in person.

If you read the whole thing you should be able to get a general idea of what happened.

This is an international forum, for men. Mostly men, no disrespect intended for the women here.

Eldar, get back in, stop being a pussy!.

I've offended a few guys here, Gordon (twice), UnCrash, (no offence mate, it's just that I'm not into it ,twitter, etc) and also Terry, (no apologies there, old son) plus various others I don't even know about. Your're going to have take it but your're also going to have to give it.

We get a few under our belts, we speak our minds, maybe we regret it in the morning but what the hell, it's an internet forum.

And as an owner of a K0 I saw a K8 with dealer plates the other day and I thought to myself "faark, that looks nice, pipes and all"

So you need to spit the dummy, front up, and duke it out mate!~!

I think that's part of the problem.  I know I've pissed off my share of other members, and I've had the same done to me on many occasions, but I say what I want to say, have it out, and then do my best to let it go.  And (possibly the most important part) you have to keep issues you've had with other members in previous discussions out of new discussions, and definitely don't start new threads based on those issues.  Every sohc4 member I can think of that made it a habit of carrying-over arguments to different threads, or starting new threads based on those arguments is no longer posting anymore.  If you carry that #$%* around it just builds up and eats at you from the inside.

That's part of the charm of this place.  We can let our guards down some, turn off the P.C. workplace feelings filter, and just be blunt  with each other, and accept the fact that others will be blunt with us, and then when one of us has a problem we need help with we put all of that aside and help each other out.

Hell, the fact that most of us are still around after all of the political threads is a testament to that.

I think the main reason I'm still around is I do my best to stay out of the political and gun-related threads now. :D ;D

Well, I have had some "misunderstandings" here myself and went to pm's to sort things out. Except for ONE time when I had a problem with one member (who will remain nameless), went to pm's, thought it was sorted out and he proceeded to throw everything out in the open. It was handled by the moderators. But it's better to let it lay, because I won't go to the lengths that HE did. Like some others have said, I too, stay away from SOME subjects because it just seems like the best thing for me to do. :) As we all know, this place is comprised of lots of different folks with lots of info, opinions, experiences and ideas concerning bike builds an such (on the subject of motorcycles). But, let another subject pop up and who knows what's liable to happen. :o :D

This is the best way to deal with individual differences. Just a reminder, the content of PM's are not to be made public in the forums. That's why they are called PM's (Private Messages).

No I do not want to be the Master of the K8.

I often think out side the box & and try to have respect for other people options.

I think Karma usually gets you back.   1080.
