I have to say that I have seen some folks who would just keep going on and on and on fussing and fighting, continuing to stir the pot! Different folks have different ways. He DID say to tell you all "hello". So, with that being said, I am out of this one.

Wow...I am gone 2 weeks and all that changed is that Eldy got his panties in a knot and buggered off??? Well I guess that qualifies as quiet around this place. Although I gotta ask why is anyone's departure worthy of 6 pages and counting??? This is almost as bad as the SPBT!!

I gotta admit I don't have too much respect for any one who does as much trash talking as he does and not have the ability to shake it off when someone returns fire.

I try to avoid the bashing (political or otherwise) because THIS IS AN INTERNET FORUM!!!! Who really gives a crap what someone thousands of miles away thinks of me?!?! (with the exception of the people on here we CHOOSE to make friendships with that is!)

Dennis, seems to me from what I have read that everyone has done trash talking. Others seem to feel he could take it and that something else was up. I guess I never realized everyone one a 2000+ member forums was required to get along?

Well I am sure most do but as stated, it is an internet forum. Hard to tell if someone is serious or screwing around. Thats the problem with written words. I would bet half the trouble is caused by misunderstandings.

Now, that is probably a lot to be said about how a person might be meaning what is said. I've had some experience in that area myself. Misunderstandings can happen so easily ON LINE! Also, some go a bit farther (in the screwing around part) than others do (then they take offense) and so a problem arises.

Something I once said, to a new member, made the previous poster think I was referring to him in a negative way, he approached me in a PM and I assured him that I was in no way talking about him. Case closed and we are STILL friends (thankfully).

You know the best way to not get offended is to CHOSE not to take offence. I think most people here are very good at that, but I have noticed a few who take everything to seriously, then people like me who screw around all the time come by and throw gas on the fire because we don't realize they are being serious.

The thing I really appreciate about this forum is how helpful people are, there's always going to be differences of opinions but thats what makes things interesting.
Being able to look at a problem from another persons perspective and experiences can really open your eyes when your stuck on something
. Just like we all know 550's are the best model ever made, that doesn't mean the unlucky one's without 550's can't disagree.

Thank you Dave, I just think that "general statements" can sometimes bring out things that aren't so and the door can swing BOTH ways (maybe SOMETIMES a person shouldn't take offense, but then again, maybe statements that generalize, should be considered before being made).

Gordon's right, we ARE getting along.
