It's funny that someone that would be that direct and confrontational would get mad when someone else does it to them.

In some circles, that type of behavior would get a person labled as a "Cry Baby".

He will be severely missed by a few,

 Maybe.

Maybe he was just a plain old d!ck, but he added something. Everyone adds something to the forum. All you are doing is hating on a hater, what's the point? Stuff like that just adds fuel to the fire man. I am not attacking you either, so don't go off on some tangent. There are enough fevered egos floating around.

I hear you man. We had a night where it was -20. EFF that. We didn't have a lot of snow days, but the times it did snow it was like eight inches every time. That is just horrible.

I'd almost rather have been out in ND, at least you have the luxury of less population density. It sucks trying to drive in the cities. On snow days it took me two hours to get home and I really only live about 15 minutes down highway 169 from work. Ugh.

He had a douchebag way of complaining about any problems he had. His last post (that was deleted) was a rant aimed at certain members with their names in the thread. The named members may come off a being know it all's at times, but the named members never opened a thread directly aimed at any other forum members. The named members also contribute to the forum in a friendly fashion.
One of the named members in the thread had a problem with me at one time, but it was handled through PM's with out dragging all the other forum members through it. That is the decent way to address issues that arise instead of dragging the rest of the forum into a conflict that is between 2 people. The one named member may still think "less than satisfactory" comments about me, but he doesnt open a thread to voice them to the whole forum.

Isn't PJ's Astrological Love Lounge in Fargo, ND?
Or is it Lester Shy and the Shyfonics?

Yeah....a few years back I had a bit of confrontation with him.It was some BS about K8's and I found out that he takes his K8 sh!t very seriously. I don't exactly remember what went down but I guess we worked it out.It did stick in the back of my mind that he had a bit of a short fuse though so I kinda gave him some slack. On the other hand.......I don't walk around on egg shells for him (or anyone else for that matter).
I guess the metal thread was the final straw this go round......Oh well.......wut can ya say???

FFS, i would have assumed, especially the way the world is at the moment, that everyone would be a little bit "thicker skinned" these days. If you keep stirring the pot whether its in fun or not, sooner or later someone is going to take offense. We have a saying down under...."build a bridge and get over it"

I saw him "try" to give you a big bowl of sh!t too Mick and I gotta say....you handled it well. I'm not against him coming back but he has to learn how to play well with others, grow some skin,or stay where he choosen upon himself to stay.A lot of people come and go here and while we might miss some.....not true with others.

what bothered me most about eldar was that he called himself eldar... and he was my age.   :-\

but i just looked up eldar:

2: a rare Norse first name meaning "Warrior who fights with fire"(Eld+ar(ar=Harjar)) Eld=fire

i'm a fire sign.   ;D

anyway... i'm not gonna stir the pot this time. ;)

I won't loose any sleep whatever he does, i like he,have opinions of my own, he shares his i will share mine.....isn't that what a forum is for? If your going to "take your bat and ball" and run everytime someone disagrees with you then i think its his problem and definitely not mine.......Now back to Alice in Chains closely followed with some Sevendust and Black label society....... ;D......rock and roll

Actually (in a heated reply he made to another member) it was the other way around and he told that member to "go get Ef'd sideways"  or something to that effect.  That was probably the last straw with the mods, and in my opinion, persons that can't keep their tempers under control should go elsewhere.

If it was the "metal" thread that spooked him, I missed it.  It seems odd that a music thread would chase him off.  If anything, I would have thought the political threads would have done it.
