Help identifying this seat
« on: March 15, 2009, 09:45:44 PM »
I've been looking for the perfect cafe seat for my cb750 k7 and after scouring pictures I found the perfect look:

Anyone have any idea what seat this is, or a fiberglass seat that looks similar, I've scoured all the vendors I know of but can't find anything that looks quite like it. Any ideas?

thanks

I think that is  a common enough tail, but I think he cut the bottom and angled it to look like a more modern bike..

Time to crack out the rigid foam and fab up your own.

Happen to know where a how-to is for making your own seat? I know I have seen one around here somewhere, but I can't seem to find it right now.

And that Guzzi rocks.

Do you happen to know which tail he might have modded? I can't find one that resembles sufficiently.

Any recommendations on an existing seat that looks like this?

It doesnt look like a design I've seen companies producing. It's probably a one off that someone made.

good looking seat form... but i think it looks horrible mounted on that frame like that... no aesthetic flow at all.
