roughly 3000 us dollars... nice... but the bike was well worth it.  probably the best kept cb350 i've seen on here.
AND YOU HAD TO GO AND SELL IT!

That was half it's problem (past tense  :-\ ) it was a bit too nice, every time I went to ride it I was scared I'd damage it and ruin it.

Oh for a not so wonderful 400-4 or something that I can just ride and work on and not worry about damaging - maybe one day I'll come back to the SOHC4 or at least the classic jap fold (always liked the look of some of the suzooks and Kwaks too)..

As sad as I am (and it's not even my bike... or is it?) to see it go LM, I'm very happy over your succe$$.

Yes, a 400f!

BTW: I'd be proud to own any bike in the running. Voting is the most enjoyable pain in the butt.

Well the new owner is coming to collect the bike tomorrow. He seems a thoroughly nice guy. His dad has a restored and perfect silver 1972 cb350F which he fell in love with so when he saw mine for sale he had to have it. I did give him the link to this site so hopefully he'll be along here soon. And the best bit is that I can keep in touch with him and see what he does with the bike. I know he has some stock pipes 3 of the 4 and I beleive you can now get a remake of the elusive number 2 which he might fit.

I forgot to mention last time, I'm glad it's going to someone who seems to know what it is, rather than it just being an old bike. Sounds like it's going to a good home.

loony... you need to tell that careless new owner that he is not to butcher your bike w/ those clumsy stock pipes!   ;D

Exactly my thoughts, I was hoping it'd go to someone who actually wanted a 350 four, not just any old jap bike.

now i want to see this dad's silver 350.  :D

Everyone should definitely vote their preference, but the sentiments expressed here towards the little green machine is remarkable.

Let's face it the 350 is a special little machine. Much as I like it's progeny the 400, it's no where near as pretty as the little 350, there's just something about the baby 350 that makes everyone who comes into contact with it fall in love with it.

Only hours to go now until my baby is ridden into the sunset  :'(.

I know the feeling. Good thing there are still relatively plenty of them still out there. Whats your plan after the 350 is gone?

No plan really with regards to classic bikes. I don't realy have the time or space for one at this point in my life. Maybe one day when we have a garage big enough!

Not plenty of 350's in the UK. There are plenty of 400/4's though so I may one day have one of them.

Wouldn't be a kick in the head if you and the 350 crossed paths again? I agree with your thoughts on your 350 and that series in general. Styling is on the mark and as hokey as it sounds there is a gem like quality to smaller machines. Kind of like watches, no? Yours is a survivor and that makes it special. I congratulate you for being a good steward during your time with her.

400's have their charm...hmmmm, how would a 350 tank look on the 400? Anyone with photoshop?

OK lets see if I can get these photos to load, usually use my phone cam but tried to get some decent ones using a real camera.

I think the thing I most like about motorcycling is the speed at which my brain must process information at to avoid the numb skulls who are eating pies, playing the ukulele, applying make-up etc in the comfort of their airconditioned armchairs as they make random attempts to kill me!!!!!!!

Great pics, Hush!  There is so much detail on your bike.  The longer I look the more things I see.  Great job! :)
