Any one ever fab up a custom tank cap?
Lets see them!

I'm gonna cut out the recessed gas door and find a stem somewhere.

Yeah, I made some..
They have an 8 bolt? flange and are exact replacement for Laverda.. they have a Knurled aluminum cap. I think they were for SFC or Jota..

The originals were steel, the bolt to tank part with 8 holes and threaded snout.. but I made them of aluminum, then hard anodized them.

I kept a couple for myself, looking for them right now as I need one for a project!

I have cut the aircraft style out of a wrecked sportbike tank, you can graft them in with a lot of work..

This is the brass bolt off a rifle - just been drilled and mounted with a grub screw (it's not the stock tank either).

Post a pic or PM me. I'd be happy to check it out.

Tiny:
Its been a while since we've hung out anyway, we'll have to meet up and bounce some I-dears.
I also may want those brake lines soon.

Keep the pictures coming! I like the look of the rife cap. Does the brass arm swivel? or is it a fixed arm to the cap?
