Neutral Switch...malfunctioning switch or ground?
« on: March 18, 2009, 12:16:22 PM »
I hate to add another neutral switch question but here goes...

I have Honda CB750 K ('76)...the neutral switch is always on (condition has existed since i've replaced the bulb).  If I disconnected the wire at the bottom of the bike connected to the neutral switch, the bike will not start and the light is off.

From the previous posts, I believe that means I have a malfunctioning switch and not a grounding problem?....but haven't checked for the latter yet in the places talked about in prior posts (e.g., under left crankcase cover).

..thanks, ron.
