CB500 Tank Repaint
« on: March 18, 2009, 07:35:56 AM »
Greetings all,

I'm designing my new bike scheme ('71 CB500 Four) and am trying to decide what to do with the tank badges.  Can anyone tell me what the tank looks like behind the badges?  Is it just three pinholes for the badge tabs or is the a "trough" of some sort, etc...  This may help me decide how to get started.  Thanks!

Its a trough with a bar with 2 holes in it
Semi Geriatric ex-Honda mechanic and MOT tester (UK version of annual inspection). Garage full of "projects" mostly 500/4 from pre 73 (no road tax in UK).

Remember "Its always in the last place you look" COURSE IT IS YOU STOP LOOKIN THEN!
