Re-stamp? most number systems on a lot of bikes have odd fonts on a few numbers. The bike squads here tend to figure those things out.. besides if the think they are iffy, they just take it away. If it turns out kosher, you might get it back in a year..
Usually they acid test the engine numbers, any underneath tend to pop up. Any molding or paint over the numbers, no problem, they just strip it off.
The RCMP has a special squad that usually follows the bike clubs around, the 1%ers.
I dont know how you could ride a bike & not end up at bike events? Also I was a director of A.I.M. for a few years, you tend to attend parties that you put on.. at least most people do..
Maybe some of you stick close to home, but I sure dont need any grief over numbers when I am 1500 miles from home..
you were the director of Aol Instant Messenger, what's that have to do with bikes?
and why would I ride my bike 1500 miles, when my car has A/C, heated seats, and a supercharger?
special squads? acid tests? what is this, C.S.I. miami? Is that douche bag Horatio there too?
I'm full of zingers today I bet this is how it goes-
they see a guy on a bike with an out of state tag and they say "hey lets go see if we can screw some cash out of this guy. and while we're at it, lets f#*k the locals too!
then they all hi-five and make out.
cops are like mattress salesmen, dirty, low down, no good scum bags.
I pretty much keep to my self, I don't do shows, and there's no reason for cops to mess with bikers out here if they're just "riding within the law". (not smiling)
sorry, I ranted again.
