clutch question

after bike is warmed up i pull in clutch to put in gear it stalls but when i rev it up alittle it catches but lerches fowered a little  could it be that i just dont have the cable adj rite

Check for air leaks at the boots?

sorry ok hear we go 1974cb 750/836 bore 4into i kerker f grined cam stock carbs with 110jets k&n stock air filter new clutch plates about about year old propblem started about a mounth ago hop this will help thanks

OK, so, a lean condition can cause difficult starting. Often this is caused by a leak at the intake boots.

Have you checked for air leaks?

Need a little more communication here, biggwall :)

You sprayed carb cleaner, or wd40, or starting fluid or something, on the boots, while it was running.
You noticed no change in engine speed while doing so.

Have you adjusted the clutch lifter?  Do that first, THEN adjust the cable.
