How much motor oil in a 78 750K?

I'm looking at different sources and manuals and each one has a different amount of recommended engine oil for a 78 750k, does anyone know what the real "factory" amount is? Is it 3.7 quarts? Thanks

i read someplace it was 4.5

According to the Owner's Manual (for my 1978 CB750K78)

Engine Oil     3.5 litres (3.7 US qt, 3.1 imperial quarts)

The manual recommends SAE 10W-40 for all temperatures.....
