hey all...i'm trying to get my chop running and the carbs seem to leak...i've tried a second hand set also same thing under pressure...i replaced the float valve and i think the seat is done and apparently with these you cant change the seat...does anyone else have any other ideas other than obtaining another set and trying them?
thaks for any help! :)

So, where are your carbs leaking from? The overflow tubes? From around the bowl where it is screwed into the main body of the carb(s)? Is it happening with all the carbs?

Is float height set correctly? I think from memory they should be set at around 14mm from the gasket seal of the carb body.

hold the carbs at an angle to close the needle but NOT compress the little pin. Measure from teh the base where the gasket presses to what would be the bottom of the float at the middle. Should be 14.mm +- .5 or 14 - 15mm.

Check the needle seat to make sure there is no crud there as any crap will stop the seal. Check the needle to make sure no cuts in the rubber tip.

Check the brass tubes in the bowls to make sure there are no cracks. I have not seen this but have heard it has happened.

Off question, you are not pressurizing your tank are you? Doubt it but had to ask.
