cb750 Throttle Play

Not really have a question, more of an observation.  This evening I installed new throttle cables on my project, and was just curious or thought it odd, how little throttle play there is.  According to the clymer manual I am using it states that throttle play is 10-15 degrees at the handle, and 2-3mm at the eccentric link.

in comparison to what m/c's are today, at wfo...
